Could drinking beer help you live a longer life?

As crazy as this sounds could there be some truth to it? I came across this article about a 101 year old WWII veteran that credits his long life to drinking Coors Light daily.

Andrew Slavonic, a WWII veteran, has made it a ritual of drinking one (yes, only one) Coors Light every day at 4:00 PM for the past 20+ years, adding speculation to the theory of whether drinking beer can help you to live a longer life.

I'll let you make your own decision on whether beer is the secret, as for me I learned two other valuable lessons:

  1. Moderation is Good (remember Andrew only had 1 beer a day)
  2. Habits and Rituals are Important

Have you made it a habit to get in better shape this year? To improve your health? To become a better you?
